If we get murdered, it was nice knowing ya (The Four Aces Set)

I'm posting this from the comfort of an El Pollo Loco (The Crazy Chicken).

We did a drive by of the Devils Reservoir. AKA, I got lost and the sun was going down on us. See link on the home page for ghosty stories on this lovely place.

We raced to Lancaster/Palmdale to check out the Four Aces set, but its dark as shit. We decided to find it and come back in the morning. Bad idea. At first I was thinking this could be a Mission San Miguel let down (totally not in the middle of the desert and in a shopping mall)...but 10 miles does make a difference. All of a sudden we found ourselves on a sandy road with NO lights but the stars and the glow of the nearest city 10 miles away. This is where I joke about a jackalope running in front of us and sure enough a jack rabbit darts across the road. Then my mind went to the horror side and I got flashes of the monsters from Feast. I can't lie, the idea crossed my mind to search with the tom tom for a dive bar , but that Tom Tom has it out for us and we would be better off.

The sandy road became super bumpy from sand floods and wind causing ripples. FML. I slow down to 2 mph. We notice about 5 cops scouting the area and notice some cars that were already there. We decide to head back in the morning or suffer being raped from a Legions creature.
